My name is Nathan Willis, and I am an Emmy award winning filmmaker based in the American South. I have directed documentaries that have appeared on Vice, NBC News, and PBS. My first feature length documentary, Rap Squad, won a Mid America Emmy award and aired on PBS stations across the U.S. as part of PBS’s Reel South. I mostly work as a one man production crew in order to tell intimate character driven stories.
I love my wife, my dogs, and Atlanta Braves baseball.
